Bonnie Glow started as a light bulb moment as I lay in my scratcher, on dreich January morning. I adore candles and I adore Scotland but I'm completely scunnered of the tired stereotypes used to market Scottish candles. I'm done with misty heather, rolling hills, and souvenir shop bagpipes. Where's our chat and quirks? And so, Bonnie Glow was born: the antidote to souvenir shop Scotland!
I handcraft my candles and wax melts in Scotland using RCX wax - a blend of coconut and rapeseed oil that burns cleaner, throws scent beautifully, and is 100% vegan. No paraffin. No compromise.
The tin, the scent, the refill
Every Bonnie Glow candle comes in a rose-gold tin designed to be kept. When your candle is done, return it to me, I'll upcycle it and give you 10% off your next order. Its a wee bit like when you returned your old, glass Irn Bru bottle to the chippy in return for 20p! Thems were the days, eh?!

Each batch is made by hand by me in Leith. There's usually hee haw sunshine on my Leith kitchen but it certainly smells nice!
