Remember Tam O' Shanter's mare... With the veil getting a bit thinner and we're starting to coorie in, Bonnie Glow presents Tam O' Shanter - a nod to the famous poem by Rabbie Burns
A drunken Ayrshire farmer is out drinking and galavanting while his wife waits at home - "nursing her wrath to keep it warm", in other words, pure ragin'. We've aw' been there.
As Tam rides home in the storm, he sees a coven of witches dancing. Tam has a roving eye and he makes the mistake of cat calling a particularly attractive witch, dancing in a short dress: "Weel done, Cutty-Sark!"
This doesnae go doon well. The coven chase Tam and his horse gets the brunt of it...
With notes of Sandalwood, Saffron, Cedarwood, Amber, Vanilla and Musk, this candle captures the cosily, spiciness of the Autumn. The moral of the story ? Stop catcalling and get hame tae yer wife! 🍂 🍁
